Smart Power, that's what the APS PHASE III High Output System is all about. By adopting a total system approach APS delivers phenomenal power utilizing a relatively conservative turbo pressure level - and consequently lower thermal and mechanical engine loads than others who use high risk strategies of higher turbocharger boost pressure to achieve a similar quoted power result.

By adopting a totally engineered system approach, APS High Output systems are configured as a comprehensive group of products working in harmony to collectively unleash adrenalin pumping performance.
In addition, all APS Phased Adrenalin High Output Systems are designed to deliver an incremental upgrade path for XR6 Turbo performance enthusiasts. Each Phase builds on top of the previous phase in order to deliver the most cost effective enhancement path. In other words, the APS PHASE III High Output System consists of additional components such as the huge APS front mount intercooler system and ancillary components to be installed over and above the APS PHASE II High Output System.
High powered turbocharged engines rely on highly efficient intercooling to ensure a significant and consistent reduction in charge air temperature. For the APS PHASE III High Output System, APS shoehorned the largest and most efficient bar and plate intercooler core money can buy into the front of the XR6 Turbo - for the highest possible engine performance. Whilst it would have been technically easier and much cheaper to utilize an Australian produced tube and fin core, it would compromise engine performance and indeed the APS philosophy where only the best will do - and in this case, Europe's finest intercooler core has found a home in the APS PHASE III High Output System. Massive reduction in charge air temperature combined with minimal pressure loss through the intercooler results in the ultimate in air to air intercooling for the Falcon XR6 Turbo.
